Sighing, Taeyeon slung her bag over her shoulder as she strolled through the campus. It was around lunch time, but she had to go turn in some late homework. Just the thought of late work and a B on a test made her cringe. The annoying chatter from the other students only added to the headache that was starting to develop. As she passed by a bench, she felt a pair of eyes on her and looked over to see who it was. It was a girl about her age, and she looked familiar. Taeyeon couldn’t put her finger on it. But, then, she realized it wasn’t just any girl. It was Jessica. Taeyeon stopped and couldn’t help but let out a soft smile as a sign of a hello.
Jessica felt her heart plunge into a state of utter glee when she observed a smile appear on the latter’s face. It was a small soft smile, the kind Jessica found to be the cutest and especially when on the face of a certain girl. She waved happily, hoping the latter would approach her. She sat up straight and batted her eyes a few times trying her best to look appealing. The girls around her stared at her unnatural behaviour but the last thing on young Jessica’s mind was what they thought. She smiled charmingly and waited, her eyes gleaming with hope.
